| This collection was taken on the 4th May 2007 while I was on a visit down at Whitby. The festival was organised to celebrate the East Coast Mainline's famous rail journeys.
The festival was held on the weekends of 29th April to 29th April & on the May Bank Holiday weekend between the 4th May and the 7th May 2007. I was only there from 9am until 1pm on the 4th May so I did not see all the traction that was there for the festival I/E I missed the two Deltics that where going to be there D9009 ALYCIDON & D9019 ROYAL HIGHLAND FUSILER. But never the less I had a good four hours at Grosmont on the day of my visit even though it was a very overcast grey and cold day. |
